Autumn Weir

Dr. Autumn Weir spent her childhood in northwest Oklahoma and moved to Kansas as a teenager. She graduated from Kinsley High School and then furthered her education at KU with a degree in Cellular Biology and certificates in leadership studies and service learning. She has focused on community health and rural healthcare throughout her education including managing the community health and eventually leadership of the scholarship halls at KU. She was selected as a Scholar in Rural Health and spent time with her preceptor in Kinsley during her undergraduate before transitioning to medical school at KU School of Medicine in Wichita. It was in this program that she met her now husband, Dr. Ryan Weir. During medical school, Dr. Autumn focused on wound care and women's health and continued these pursuits in residency at Smoky Hill Family Medicine in Salina, KS.

She is board certified in Family Medicine and has additional interests in inpatient medicine, emergency medicine, and hospice care. She offers full-spectrum family medicine services from prenatal care (up to 20 weeks) to geriatrics including several office based procedures such as IUD placement, dermatologic procedures, and biopsies.

In her personal time, she enjoys board games, reading, and spending time with her family.
