- MHC has partnered with Kansas Healthcare Collaborative which is part of the University of Kansas Health System. The Care Collaborative is a patient safety organization dedicated to delivering high-quality care to patients in rural Kansas.
- MHC has adopted the Care Collaborative’s evidence-based protocols to care for patients who are experiencing a heart attack, stroke, or sepsis (infection).
- MHC Emergency Room staff initiate evidence-based protocols in a timely manner as indicated. Our goal is to implement appropriate care that provides the best possible patient outcomes.
