Minneola Wound Healing Center
We are a comprehensive outpatient wound healing center dedicated to the care of patients with wounds. We provide advanced wound care for those patients with difficult-to-heal and/or non-healing wounds. Our center is staffed by local providers specializing in wound care. Our approach to wound care is aggressive and comprehensive, coordinating traditional and advanced therapies that aid and accelerate the healing process.
We utilize best clinical practices that begin with a thorough patient evaluation and diagnostic testing to determine wound etiology. An individualized care plan is then developed using evidence-based therapies that are highly effective in facilitating the healing process and may include:
- Surgical debridement
- Offloading
- Vacuum-assisted closure
- Specialty dressings and wraps
- Cellular and/or tissue-based products (skin substitutes)
- Compression therapy
- Surgical interventions, when indicated
As the referring physician, your patient remains in your care. You will receive progress reports throughout their treatment and remain an active member of the wound healing team.
When to call the Minneola Healthcare Wound Healing Center:
Any patient who has a wound that has not responded to conventional therapy should be referred to the wound center for further evaluation.
- Pressure injuries/ulcer
- Venous ulcer
- Diabetic foot ulcer
- Non-healing, post-surgical wound
- Arterial/ischemic ulcer
- Traumatic wound
- Compressed skin graft or flap
- Crush injury
- Late effects of radiation

We treat all wounds but specialize in those that are slow or difficult to heal.
Even the most difficult wounds that have not responded to other treatments may see significant improvement at our center.
