Matthew Ridder was born and raised in Augusta, Kansas. He attended Wichita State University where he graduated from Nurse Practitioner school in 1997.

He is a veteran of the US Army and US Navy. He served in Afghanistan as a Nurse Practitioner in a combat receiving hospital. He retired from the US Navy in 2019 as a Navy Captain.

Matthew's primary areas of interest are Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine. He enjoys spending time with his three children.
