Pre/Post-OP Coordinator Minneola District Hospital The Pre/Post Op Coordinator is responsible for the daily needs of Pre-Op and PACU. They have successfully completed the RN program at an accredited school of nursing with a current license. Must have at least 2-5 years of experience working in either a hospital or an ambulatory surgery center. Experience in ambulatory surgery is preferred (willing to train the right candidate if less experienced). Physical Therapist Minneola District Hospital The Physical Therapist independently evaluates, determines treatment strategies, delivers and/or delegates services that identify, prevent, remediate, and rehabilitate acute or prolonged physical dysfunction. This role encompasses evaluation skills and techniques, analysis of patients, and therapeutic application of physical and chemical agents, exercise and other procedures to maximize the patient's functional independence. The Physical Therapist is responsible for using their best clinical judgment, guided by best practices and for always maintaining the highest degree of quality patient care. We provide quality based rehabilitation services across the continuum – acute care, swing bed and outpatient care. Physical Demands: Has normal strength and dexterity to operate equipment and complete patient exercises, as necessary. Stands, walks, turns, kneels, crouches, reaches, pulls, climbs, supports patients, and can lift up to 35 pounds of weight. Bachelor, Master, or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy. Current Kansas Physical Therapy License. Must have a current CPR certification.
Certified PTA Minneola District Hospital The Physical Therapy Assistant performs physical therapy treatment to patients under the supervision of a Physical Therapist. They perform and advance treatment within an established treatment plan provided by the supervising Physical Therapist. The Physical Therapist Assistant shall perform these duties observing prescribed safety precautions, and preserving the rights of their patients. The Physical Therapist Assistant is expected to communicate effectively with their patients, supervising therapist, physicians, staff, and families.
